Here are some of my recent creations! It has been awhile since I posted any of them. Between work designing on Colorful Creations, Ministry both online and outreach I am pretty busy. Not to forget my Family. So now it is time to share. The images you see here are valentines day ATC's that I made for the swap. I used the Canvas ATC's from Tim Holtz. I love how these came out.

This was for scrap a song challenge! I choose the song GLORY by Selah.

This is another Me challenge using the letter B For being born again. This is my favorite!

This challenge was to use a technique that is listed! I had fun with this one!

After Christmas

Well the holidays are over and I must say that came and went quickly. This have changed so much over the years and the holidays don't seem the same. It seems like we are creating new memories. We did have a wonderful holiday and I would like to share some pictures and things we did over the holiday.

Destiny and Amaya did a worship dance with the song the night that Christ was born.. They did great! We took a lot of pictures.

The night before Christmas there was Muddy Buddies. The girls were making muddy buddies for the first time and we had a lot of fun! Okay blogger is giving me a hard time to upload my pictures so I will try again tomorrow.

Vacation is Over

Well my 4 day vacation is almost over and I am going to miss it. I had fun projects with the kids, Christmas fun but it is back to work tomorrow. I am in the hospital getting my foot checked out I baned it good and it has a knot now that wont go away. But my vacation hasd been fun, lots of creating and new info . Some New Creations!

This layout was created for Colorful Creations PYL challenge! Had fun doing this one. I used the random collection by crate paper on this one. These are my daughters at their latest Mix match day at school.

THis layout was created for only for Colorful Creations. I am seeking a DT position and I worked on this to show off what I can do. I really love the outcome of this layout. This is also the random collection by crate paper and a little Kand company the butterflies and some of the borders.

This layout was created for a color challenge on Colorful Creations. I used Sassafras Ellie's Tale on this one.

My New Toy

I wanted to share my new toy. I have been wanting a Canon camera for a long time and finally got one on sale this past black Friday. I got the Canon SX150 IS. I am so happy with it. It has so many functions and great details about it. I am happy, excited, and can't wait to start taking photo's. The lens is a nice large size and I must say it is pretty heavy. I can make movies and the image stablizer is awesome! This camer perfects the issue people have with other camera. My favorite function I saw and played with is the Vivid Color where it just really brings out the color. Once I use my photo shop Images will be perfect. This is a New model of the Powershot and 14.1 MP is awesome and it is always great to get a 300 dollar camera for 140.00!

Random Collection Layout

I had to share this layout. I finally got to use the Random Collection by Crate Paper and it is so awesome! The minute I saw this kit I knew I had to have it. This layout iis so darling. I don't know what happened while taking the photo with that shadow area but have been having problems with the camera and the sun here. It has not been as bright. The weather is changing so. But I had to share this.

My Life as a Scrapper Today

Hello My fellow friends,

Well as always life is busy, family, ministry, work and scrapping. All are going well so I will share the latest in everything with you all. So first ministry. I have not had the opportunity to share that September 25th I was Ordained as a Bible Teacher and Minister. I am very excited about this accomplishment because it is a blessing from God. When I was 19 years old I knew that becoming a bible teacher is something that I would do because I had a passion for it. I have a passion for helping people. Work is going well, work is work of course but it is good to like and love what you do. I have enrolled back in school to get my Degree in Health Sciences. I am currently a C-MAA Certified Medical Administrative Assistant. I have passed my first course with a 94% as of now and have a few more grades to be put in by Sunday. I will start College Math on Monday ( pulling my Hair). So I am a little nervous and excited at the same time.

Family is great the girls and I have worked on some masks that we decorated and just blinged them out. They look awesome in them. Pictures to come. Hubby and I went to see my favorite all time moive The re make of footloose and I liked it. I am a footloose fan!

Scrap life! Well I have been busy with swaps on scrapbook.com. I joined the November ATC swap and have finished those. They are going in the mail tomorrow. I also have been working on a Valentine's Day tag swap making tags. I have completed three of the four. Here they are below.

I have yet some more great news. There is a great site that someone I know had created for healing. This site is for those who have been or have someone close to them that has been a victim of Domestic Violence. It is called the Creativity Heals. I got the invite and was interested because I am one for healing if it is physical or spiritual. It is healing They have a nice group of ladies and I have joined the design team for the mini album group. They have groups from Making and dressing dress forms, healing journals, mixed media, scrapbooking and more. They are getting set up and the getting the team in order to bring you healing through crafting. Monica has done a great thing and we are going to all work together and make it a great place to be healed. please join us. Here are some projects that I have completed in the last month. With work and ministry when I have time to scrap I enjoy it. Please view some of my lastest projects. I made this for a tag contest on sb.com. I have been so busy that I may have missed the deadline to post this to the site.

I gave this owl to a girl at work name Brandy. She loves the fall theme and more the halloween theme and I don't celebrate halloween so I thought I would give it to her. She loved it.

Here is a dress form tag made for a swap on scrapbook.com Martica is hosting a high end dress form tag swap. I really enjoyed making these.

Got myself into another swap on sscrapbook.com and it is called letter of the word swap. I also have the letter "T" But have not been able to be home in the right lighting to get good pics. the words are daughter and Mom.

Another dress from which looks like a costume to me. In the theme of fall.

Recent Life Of A Scrapper

Hello Followers,
It has been a very bust 3 weeks for me but I finally get two days off in a row! YAY!!!

I have a few things to share today first I want to share my Patrotic project that I made for the Frosted Designs Guest Designer spot on the 20th of may

This is a picture frame that I decided to do my project for. I like making mini scrap frames. When you finish them and put them in the frames they look so pretty!

Also I am the sponsor for May at Scrapper Sanctuary and I put the prize package together that is sponsored by my etsy shop.

On another note I have been so busy I have not congratulated myself on finishing school! CONGRATS TOCCARA!!!!! I am not a Administrative Medical Assistant and soon will be a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant! I take my certification exam this week coming and I am excited about my accomplishments and I am I am thankful to God for all that he has done for me, and all that he has allowed me to accomplish. My Graduation Cermony is sometime in Septemeber don't have a actually date yet!

May Challenges at Scrappers Sanctuary

Hello Friends! As Design Team member of The Scrappers Sancturary are having our grand opening and our challenges for May are up and running. There are about 12 great challenges there for you to dig into. Here are my challenges for the month . Each month I will be hosting a Word/journaling challenge and a Color challenge. For this months word challenge your challenge is to use the word WISH on a layout or project and for journaling use rhyming in it. Simple right. This month My etsy shop is sponsoring the Month of May and I will be putting together a kit with some of my handmade journaling tags, ribbon flowers, page charm and some brand papers I just got. So if you would like to be elgible for this prize you will first have to sign up at The Scrappers Sanctuary and get started.

Next challenge is Color challenge. This month you must use the color GREEN! This is a MONO color challenge so this color has to be the main focus of this challenge. I was asked two days ago to be a Designer for The Scrappers Sanctuary. They are super organized and have things set up to get started with challenges Starting May 1st. This is a forum based Scrapping site and we have some great girls that are there ready for participants for their challenges. Crop Layouts, Challenges

This is my take on Frosted Designs Friday challenge make and use a handmade embellishment(s) on a project. I chose to make a card. I don't make cards often but I have been in the mood for them. The polka dot flower I made from ribbon, and I added a felt circle pieces that I bought from an etsy store. I really love the colors and it just reminds me of happy!

These three projects above are from simply scrapping crafts site where I entered three challenges and I got to complete these at an all night crop at Scraporium a LSS. we had fun and I did not stay the whole crop til 6am but I did leave about 12:30am so I got about61/2 hours of crop time. I did get to play around with the cricuit a bit. It is really time consuming to use that thing and I am more ready than I was before to get one...not quite sold out to get one yet but I do like it just not enough to spend so much. It is going down in price and if the price is right I may make the investment.

Other News: I almost purchased a copic marker just to test it out. I am not into them or cards to buy such and expensive marker but I did get to see how they work because a lot of the ladies at the crop are card makers and use them. maybe next time!

Layouts and Etsy Shop News!

I wanted to share some of the things I had been working on. I have three blogs I manage and sometimes I think I posted things for this blog when I did not. Between operation handmade blessings, Beautiful Awakening Women Ministry, sb.com, and other sites, I tend to forget where I have posted my layouts and projects. So here are a few. This is a card I made for my one of my bestfriends since we were 12-13 years old. This is a layout of myself. This was me right after being sick for so long I believe this was my first outing after 5 months of pain and suffering. I love the colors I used so bright and happy! I used some stuff I picked up at michaels by reccollections. The butterfly in particular which is my favorite! The flowers are also by reccolections and some of the borders. This is a layout of my two oldest daughters. I had fun playing around with some stuff in my craft room. Please Visit my etsy shop. I have added a lot of new items and have sold a few also. My dog chains seem to be qutie popular because I sold about four at a yard sale and three three from my shop. I have some in the shop now and all valentines day items are on sale now! New Layout

Here is a layout I created just for Frosted Designs Friday challenge but did not upload in time. It was fun and I got to use some brads and order some more from The Crafty Pearl. This is of my daughter Jayla playing in a pumpkin patch back in October of 2010. Since I had been sick for a while I am just catching up to with some of my photo's to scrap allthough I don't scrap in picture order any how. I will be a Guest Designer on Frosted Designs in May and I have created my project. I want to share but I think it will be best to wait until it comes out for the May challenge over of Frosted Designs. I used the new papers by Sassafras Ellie's Tale. I bought a few papers from my LSS and some from Sweetly Smitten collection. Ithink it came out great doing it with a headache that was really bad. I started it okay and got a headache throughout the layout so I tried to still put as much time into it as I would have if I was not in pain. The challenge was to use BRADS!!! Sweet16 Album

I have been working on a sweet 16 album for a birthday in May. This is a paperbag ablum and I am very pleased with how it came out. She will love this ablum because it is filled with lots of embellishments and goodies. This is actually my gift to her. In my family every girl that turns 16 I have made them an ablum to put pictures in, have tags, journaling spots, and the embellies are off the charts in this ablum. check it out!

These are some flowers for the flower swap hosted by Linn. I wanted to do something different and this is what I came up with. I have made the swirl lollipop flowers before but never added lace and beads to them. This was a first for me.

I am happy that I got a few things done but I have not completed a lot for the year 2011!!!! I have done other projects but not a layout. I have so many photo's to scrap because when I was sick for 4 months I did not scrap at all so I have photo's from fall, the kids at the pumpkin patch, christmas and other photo's. SO we are still working on that. I have started a swap over on Scrapbook.com called Fabric Art Tags there are super cute and they are tags that are made from pieces of fabric. They have a base of chipboard for those that are not an expert in sewing but the entire tag has fabric and embellishments. Here is an example:

A day at the park. They were really hign and glad i have a camera that can take pictures from really high and it still be good quality!
She was upset because of the sun in her eyes and did not want to take a picture with her sisters. This was the best shot I could get!
The two Diva's! There grandpa from new york sent them some new sneakers and they were super excited! We were headed out for a family day!

10 Years Later!

Okay, My ten years being out of high school has come! Can't believe it has been that long! I went to my reunion site and saw all the faces of those I shared important years with. It was so great to see everyone. Some have passed away and I know that they are truely missed. I had to put up some before and after pictures so and leave a little profile message. When I think back high school was really fun for me! I had lot's of friends mostly guys the football team and we would hang out joke around and just have fun! I was dating one of the players so whatever event that was going on I was there. I was also in band! Our band was pretty awesome as was our football team! The school's football team is still great to this date. Some teachers were awesome and some were just plain mean. I do know that they just wanted us to succeed. I am looking foward to attending the reunion gathering in July!

I am really into Technology and My husband dreads the day I something techy comes out. I have seen these for awhile on TV but It has now become a want of mine. We were shopping the other day and I said I want this. OF course his first response is "How much is it?" I told him the price of two cheaper ones!( aren't we good for that)! So this is my new found technology that I would like to have in my hands. I am a reader and I am sort of getting tired of the booklight thing and trying to read under the covers so I won't disturb my husband when he is sleeping so this will be a good fit for me. When something cost a lot of money that I want and don't need I have to look at the actual benefit of having it so this will be a main purpose for me, and to get bible scripture right at my finger tip's when I need to use bible gateway to find a passage quickly!

I am back in the game! Since my long recovery from some things I was going through I was able to complete a swap! This is my first swap back! It has been a long 5 months! I have in that time created a Women Ministry Blog, called Beautiful Awakening! I have about 5 members! We opened last week sometime and I am pretty excited about where God is taking me. It sure is a blessing, I am fighting my way through victory! So Marticia has hosted a tag/lace swap and I have created tags for this swap and for my shop which I hope to get some things in there this upcoming week.

For the swap! I used a bunch of goodies I have not been able to use. I bought them right before I got sick and I got to have fun with them!

I love this one! This is for Valentine's Day! I made this one with some Vintage seasonal papers by Tim Holtz!

Have not been able to do a scrapbook page yet but I did make it to my LSS right after Christmas a got a bunch of stuff! I have used some of it in these tags here. New Ministry Site

HEllo to all who follow me! As some of you know I have been out sick and I have been spending the last few Months with my family and trying to get my life back from 4 months of what seem to have been one of the worse times I have ever had. I am back and still going through somethings but I am back with my calling in life and where God wants to take me. Most know that I am a woman of faith and that I have been a believer for a long time. I have made many mistakes in my life as we all have and I have been seeking God on how to go out into what I know he has called me to do in life. I have been moving in the things of God, have become a intercessory for many, a prayer warrior, a seed planter and all that comes with the job of being a believer. It has been tough but I would not rather be doing anything else. I have moved out by faith on in online ministry that I have created called Beautiful Awakening! This is an online women's Ministry and we will be doing great things. I have also started the planning process in a Teen/young Adult Ministry that will be local where I live. It will be called also Beautiful Awakening TYA Ministry! That ministry will focus on 15-18year olds. But the site is ready for you to start looking around reading the Mission of this Ministry, and what we believe and if you believe what We believe then join us in the support for women all over the world. Hello Followers,

For the last month My health has not been at its best. I got better from one thing and found out I had some other issues that I apparently have had for two years. I am trying to get myself together and trying to get used to new medication that I am taking. I Have taken down my new site that I created on the spruz network. I had about 2o followers and I am sorry that I had to do that but I can keep up with something like that right now. I have to focus on getting my daily duties accomplished! i will thought keep you all updated and keep me in your thoughts! I am not sure when I will be back to scrapping but I know when I do I wont be so involved on the net so much. I have learned in the last month that I have been spending too much time online and I am going to fix that! So Thank you all so much for following me and I hope you do stop in still when I post! Food Experience Gram-a-nugger!

Well yesterday was a blast. Although it was extremely hot outside we managed to get our food project down without anything melting. We made my famous gram-a-nuggers! I made this up my freshman year in highschool. My cousin and I would always go to the store on the weekends and buy stuff that looked tasty and things we like that did not go toegether and then find some way to make them go together and try and eat it to see what it taste like. Well I finally found one that stuck with me. Below is what it looks like. Gram Crackers, heavy whip cream and cookies and cream sprinkles. put it together as a sandwhich and wala GRAM-A-NUGGER!!!

They are having a blast here! This was soooo cute!

SUMMER!!!!

Hello my blog friends,

Well summer has already started and I have been trying to figure out what to do this summer with the kids. So I came up with something to do at home when I am not on family trips and such. First we bought a Wii and we are having a blast with that. Although I hurt my arm playing it but I kicked my Hubby's but In baseball so Now I am feeling the pain.

Here are my plans.

each week we will experiment with different flavors and do food experiences with them.

This week Is CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!

Yesterday We made chocolate covered icecream cones and added sprinkles to them.We had a blast and I lost some of the pictures on the and I am so upset but its okay we have another projects today. I am going to make my famous gram-a-nuggers! Stay tunned I will post that experiment later.

I am just so excited and when I first found out about the online scrap world and read about getting my scrapbook pages published into a mag I was like I want to one day accomplish that. Swap Madness!

I have been a swapping mess! So many swaps so little time. I have joined swap after swap and I have had no time for layouts except the ones for the sites I design for. I love doing swaps and hosting them also. Right now I am at work writing in my blog and labeling my items. (The Handmade Flower Swap). I made some ribbon flowers, and some silk flowes also. Just added my own little touch to them. besides doing swaps I have been really thinking about my dreams in life that I have not moved foward to doing. One day I want to have a center for young girls and young women that have had some difficult time in life. When Iwas growing up until I was about 9 I had a great childhood then things started getting rough. So I know that obstacles I had to overcome during that time and the patience and endurance I had to have, the faith Ineeded to get through and I want to be able to help other women and young girls. I want the center to be an outlet for what is at home. This place will be a place of creativity, humbleness, loving kindness, support, understanding, and a step toward the right direction. My creativity and craftyness helped me get through a lot, it was at times and protective barrier, a safe place, a happy place. I would love for girls who are really struggling at home with parents, with how they are, what they are seeing at home that is not good for them, I want them to see past that. So I have been praying about this and really just trying to be creative with what I can do for some girls now until I get this center one day. So in efforts to support this mission, I am opening a new shop on etsy.com. This shop will be a little different, The intentions are different, the mission is different, and it will show. HALF of the money I make here will go toward helping young girls, and young women. I already started setting up the shop and I will keep everyone updated on my opening. The shop will be filled with what helped me when I was alone, abandoned, didn't have enough to eat, having to take care of my brothers, scared all that. That is my Crafting! I started scrapbooking back in High School But I have been crafting since I was about 9years old. Every piece I make I know that it is a step toward helping someone just as I was. Every piece I sell will be helping someone just as I was and that makes me happy! The bible says what you did for the least of these you have done to me. Matthew 25. I am a strong beleiver because I did not make it out the woman I am by chance. I was created just for this reason and purpose, I went through it all to be a blessing to someone. So they in turn can do the same for someone else. Well let me show some work so you will know Iam atlease working.

This box was decorated for a stationary swap on scrapbook.com. I have to make cards for it. I used cardstock pp's, ribbon, handmade embellishment I got in a swap that i played with it and made it my own. a Key by tim holtz, beads for crafting, lace, cropadile to add the holes and eyelets, sticlkes, rubon, bradm stickers, and prima flowers.

Unique Technique Challenge

I am Design Team member over on Creative Scrapbooking Divas and I have a group called Unique Technique! I come up with these unique challenge to get those creative juices flowing so for this time around I wanted them to do a layout about their favorite shoes and to use some photo editing. I used the shoes pastry I love them and everytime I go to get some there are no more left in my size so I used my daughters! here is my layout using the Unique Technique! Oh I used cartooning as a photo editing feature. the shoes are colorful so I wanted to bring them out more by using cartooning. and I added a little spotlight to it also!

You can add whatever embellishments you want but they all have to be pink or majority of them. Good evening to all my friends, I hope that all is well with each one of you and I am so happy that the Holidays are here. This is my favorite time of the year because it is mostly family oriented. I have finally Got me a Laptop so I can keep up with my online and Design Team stuff, I am doing well with life. I had a kitchen fire not last Monday but we are all ok! Thank God for his grace and mercy upon my family life. It was a scary moment in life but we made it through. I have been working on some project for crafting and scrapping. I have been able to get some of the ladies at my job to get scrappin so we are all scrapping and showing off our work to one another. I am so grateful that I can inspire people to get something inside of them brought out. That is what God wants to do with us, bring the best out of us and With me being on a christian Design team I am able to glorify him with what he has given me as a true talent. I am thankful for all that he has done for me up until now and what he will be doing in the future of my life. I want to be able to encourage people all around the world and that in everything I do you can see his love. I just felt like venting fora moment so here are some of the things I have been working on thus far. There are some new papers for the holiday season called Jolly by golly by Cosmo Cricket. I have a layout that I created using some of the papers.

I am so excited about my challenge this week. Today my challenge is to make your very own favorite bible story book. As a child I used to love those bible story books that used to lay around in the laundry mats for children to ready while their parents did laundry. So now that I design for a christian Site I thought it would be a great idea to make some of our very own. They can be mini albums, 12x12 pages or whatever you wish. The only thing you have to do is add the color white to the layout and flower(s). Please visit us at Christian Crafters and post your creations there. Well Idid not get to talk much about the WIZ going on this year with my kids school! Some of you know about this since they did it 2 years ago but they had this production again this year. My girls so to a performing Arts School so they are always doing something. The Wiz has come and gone and they did an awesoem job. Destiny was a dancerette and a yellow brick road dancer , and Amaya was a tornado dancer and a munchkin. They looked soooo cute! here are some photo's...

Of course I have more photo's but we would be here all day if I posted them all! I can't wait to scrap them. It was an awesome 2 hour show the kids are so talented!

Hello Friends,

Thought I would stop by and say hello! Well I have a full time job now and I have been totally tired. Oh yes It is a hard transition for SAH-M's! I work at a chidcare center with children and I like it. I had a passion for this a couple of years ago and when my third daughter was born I stayed at home with her. Now I am back at the same place because they asked me to come back. I have my own classroom teaching 3 year olds and it is fun and challenging at the same time. The kids have down time(nap time) for a while and that is where I scrap! OHHHHH YESSSS did you think I was not scrappin!LOL Scrappin goes where I go. The online crop for MAF went well and all my design team positions are going well also. I don't stop. But I did not wantto go another day without posting something new on my blog. Here are some of my latest works of art.

Well it has been exactally 6 days since I posted on my blog. Reason being is that I have been so busy with DT stuff. I am officially on 4 Design Teams! MAF, Jeans Art Dolls, Christian Crafters, And Scrapbooking Crafting Friends. That is a lot but I love doing what I am doing. I have created my first challenge for Jeans Art dolls and completed my layout for it. I have created my first challenge for Christian Crafters and My Layout for it , and I am still working on mine for scrapbooking and Craft Friends. MAF I have been on the team for awhile. SO that is what i have been doing lately. Here are some project to confirm I have been working.

TGIF (I Finished a paying project)

Happy Friday everyone! Fridays are the best for people with 9-5 jobs so I am giving a shout out to you all. And for the rest of the world who has to work weekends sorry! Well to cheer you up I have some pictures of a project completed. I had to decorate the front of a baby photo album. I got a plain one and the part in the front that holds a picture broke when i was starting so I took it back and could not find anything else but I found a baby album that had a little decoration to it and I thought this would be cool to add to this. Plus the person I was doing it for did not want to spend to much money so I got that one and I was a little uneasy that it came a little decorated (embossed stuff) but I thought I could really make this my own...SO here is what i did. I forgot to take an before and after picture since it was already decorated to show the difference but I forgot and then I just tried to look online so I can copy the picture here but no luck. Here is a twist the person I made this for happen to have that same album already! But she was so happy because it looked totally different that the original I added a pocket to the back to put little things from the hospital and it was boy(ed) OUT!!!

The title is not all of waht i wanted to say but it is Be still and know that I am God. A scripture in the book of psalms in the bible. I thought it was a great title for what they were doing. they were looking into the lake and watching the waters.

Beading Imagination Challenge!!!

Here is a new challenge from your Design Team Member Toccara over at MAF! (YES ME!)I am hosting a challenge this week and I think this challenge is soooooo fun! So here it is. Those favorite embellishments you love to buy from your LSS, instead of buying, make it out of beads... Whether it is flowers, butterflies, flourishes etc. There is a lot you can do with the extra beads you have lying around. So I challenge you to make something beautiful with your beads. Here is an example of what you can do with the beads.

I used Fancy Pants (Crush Collection) October Afternoon Journaling Tags, Prima Flowers, K&Company Words, K&Company rubon's, brads, ribbon from Joann's, pp's unknown, beads, Tim Holtz Stickles (cotton candy,and Aqua blue)

This is My take of a Dragon Fly! I think it came out really well and I love the bling I did with it. I played for about 20 min with the kids photo's mine and huuby and just had a blast. the place is called photofunia and it gives a bunch of different bacgrounds to choose from...You just add your photo and they do the rest! Well it is Friday everyone and I know this is the day of the week everyone loves. So HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! Well for some Happy Friday News I got a new Job! I have been waiting for an opportunity like this.. I am now a Personal Assistant to a Sales Director, future National Sales Director. I will be in charge of in meetings, events, party planning, Decor of the building and office work. Just for this month I will be making 10 dollars an hour and if I contine to like the job which I know I will, I will be making $20 an hour. That is truely a blessing! God has shown favor on me! Well it is raining now and a little storm is here so see you soon! The winner will be announced tomorrow for the sweet tooth swap challenge! Good Luck eveyone!

Sweet Tooth Swap Challenge

Hello everyone how are you doing on this wonderful Sunday evening! I hope everyone day went well. SO on to business Tomorrow is the day I am to choose the winner for my Recipe challenge. I will be off to my sister in Law's house for a cook out since we have a family member visiting from Brooklyn New York so I won't be avail. I was reviewing the details of each entry for my challenge to see what I liked most about each giving points for every detail that stuck out to me! They were great LO's but well all know there can only be 1 winner. Sometimes it is easy to just do the random generator or pull from a hat! But if someone works hard on a LO, I want to Atlas the winner to have won by the things I actually like and looking at the detail they put into it. (I have nothing against random generators)! But this way is just my preference. So after going over the details of the LO's which I liked them all but there is one LO that Received the most points! Well to all of you who are a lefty and consider this an honor Happy Lefty's Day to you. I remember growing up they tried to teach me to write with my right hand because for some reason they did not want me writing with my left. And as I have found out from people older than me, they were forced to write with their right if they orginally wrote with their left. As lefty's we do have some dis advantages in this world like things that are made just for right handed people so we get back at them by making lefty mugs and have the liquids spill on someone that is not a left handed person!LOL I have personally got to do that to some people and it is soooo funny! As for me stiring things can be hard at times, cutting a turkey also can be hard, learning to crochett is hard and knit but guess what I can craft and scrap my butt off! Lefty's by the way have had studies show we are very smart...That we tend to use the creative side of our brain. It is so cool being a lefty so to all you old people who are probably dead by now when this started Lefty handed people are not handicap as they told us years ago!!! Facts I have 2 daughters that are left handed and they both are like little geniuses. My oldest is smart to but the two lefty's are unique in how that take in information and how they think. That study has some truth to it seriously!!!

Here is my version of my blog recipe challenge...Every recipe is here! I know some of us need some inspiration to do this challenge and to get their creativity flowing so here it is...

I have my purple round beads in the corner unerneath the buttefly I put some stickles in the holes. I have my stitching in the center, my two Pattern Papers, actually I have more than two but I have at least two, also beads a my title with wire, my pastel colors in the background of my LO, and my one photo. Hope this helps some of us who needed an example of it.

You have to either use your beads at home or if you don't have any go to your LSS and find the beads you like the best purchase them and then go home a create something on a LO with them. I want everyone to be creative B/C i will be choose the LO that I think was most creative with the beads. Some crafters are not use to using beads so this is why I am starting out simple so we can get the hang of it before we move to more challenging projects. The winner of this challenge will receive a variety of beads from me, from my stash. (I will not be stingy with the beads)! So let's get excited!!1 For those of you who don't have beads, just get something not to expensive you may just be the winner of some beads to do about 3-4 projects with. If at any point there are two people that I can't choose between I will send you both some beads. And please let me know a little about you experience with using beads I will love to hear from you! I use my love for Beading and twist it around and put them to use in other ways other than Jewelry Making. I wanted to stop by and give some insite on my scrappy life... Well I am a New DT Member over at MAF for the beading group! YEY!!! So excited Well I have won Layout of the day twice over there and I was so honored. The ladies over there are so nice and warm. the owner is wonder and have came out with a great network I was shocked because I had just joined and left a couple of things there so I can let the owner see some work and i was like me? SO here are the LO's that were LOTD!

I got some very nice comments! For the my sweet girls LO one of the comments were that they LO stood out to them because of the bright colors I used. And for the embellies one of the comments were they loved how I altered them and all the fiber, frill and how girly they look!

NOW for the Other DT position. I have found also another wonderful site called Cookin up creations. They are so exciting and full of fun! The owner over there is awesome! They will be choosing the new team and will have them by August 3rd. I am so excited. If this works out I will be on the DT for MAF in the Beading group and DT member at cookin up creations for scrapbooking. This will give me some balance and I can create for both without being overwhelmed! You can't imagine how excited I am! Wish me Luck!

Also I hope you all will be joining me for my second challenge! We are going to make this fun! The summer Vacation for those of us who have kids will be over in another month so, so lets get some LO's done.

Well to those of you who Played along in my First Blog Challenge thank you soooo much. Well I have decided to go again. I have some great products from Prima marketing that I would love to share with my fellow followers! All you have to do is become a follower and you can do the challenge. The challenge is to follow a recipe challenge. the recipe is to:

Not Forgotten...What I can show You!!

Hello to all I just want to let you know I have not forgotten about you. I have been submitting LO's and Altered stuff for DT and I have been doing it the right way making different stuff for each of them instread of using the same LO's and stuff for each one. I cannot post it until I have heard back weather I have made it or not. But don't fret You know that I am always scrapping and doing things so I still have some other things to show you!YEY here is some altered art and LO's that I can show you.

I am so excited about the things I have been working on and can't wait to show you more.

FYI: I am hosting a swap over a scrapbook.com it is called sweet tooth swap it is open and active. I am excepting 20 people in to the swap I have about 8 or 9 now and we are in partners of two's. we are having a wonderful time chating and sharing the type of sweet tooth embellies we are going to make for our partners. go on over to scrapbook.com and click on forum and the drop down menu will say interactive fun click on that one and look for us I am crafty lefty over they and I am the host it will say sweet tooth swap! Also Prima Marketing has very nice embellies like the flowers we are all familar with but there 12x12 papers are awesome, journaling tags, rubon's all is great and are at a great deal. Ifound a lot of product at michales craft store and went absolutely nuts! Check them out if you have a local store near you!

Basic Grey has the new Lemonade Collection it is so pretty! please invest in some goodies.

It Happened Again!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited! I won the challenge #6 what's in your handbag challenge! It feels wonderful to win these challlenges when you work hard on them. I have been doing a lot of scrappin and my LO's are getting better and more creative. When you are doing challenges you seem to put your best foot foward!! (I should do it even when i am not being challenged but hey you know how it is)! So it is paying off for me big time! I have also put a word in for a scrapfit to be on the design team!!!yey! A new challenge blog that I came across from scrapbook.com and I thought it will be a cool challenge blog to keep the on the go mom's scrapping. My girls are in a performing arts school and they are always do a play and they are in ballet so we are busy! I have not scrapped any of their picture from this passing year but that will be my next task. they had a play doing the wiz last year and motown medley this year and ballet all year so anyway I should hear something soon, hopefully I make it. Also I have a DT position awaiting me when the blog comes off of break!!! So I am excited about what's to come and all scrapping has for me! This is the winning LO for the challenge! I won some cool products from whoopsadaisy a shop in the UK! Can't wait to receive my winnings!

It has been a while since I also did a page with hubby and I! It took me back a little to do this page. I did a lot of distressing in this LO.

I am so excited about winning the challenge from scrappers block forum. They had a week long crop a thon, everyday they had 3-4 different challenges from layout to scavenger hunts, to tutorial and more. I a got a voucher from a scrapbook shoppe called papermaze in the UK and won seperate winnings from that sponser. I also won GD spot over at Scrappers Block challenge blog for the next 6 weeks! how great is that. I guess I won't be able to participate in the challenges but it is so great to get some shine! I am still working hard, I joined a friend over at sb.com card swap I am excited about that and a layout challenge. So i am also excited about that. I wan't to post some of my work that I did over at scrappersblock. So please come back I know you have kinda missed me right? I am still here and busy doing layout's and stuff so I can show you here. This layout is for The challenge "What's in your handbag"? over at scrappers block. I enjoyed doing this layout. it was a fun and summerful color LO. I wanted to intreped this in a way that I wanted to let you know what's in my handbag without showing pictures of what's actually inside. So Since I have Loads of Mary Kay product in my handbag most reason is that I love MK products and I am a MK beauty consultant. So I was trying to find something I can put on my layout and I found the perfect idea. My book that I send to all my customers in the mail each season with all the products they can order from me. this happens to be the summer issue and it is beautiful! this is my take on this challenge.

I am so excited! I am supposed to be in bed right now but instead I am here on my blog to talk about scrappers Block Challenge Blog. For those of you that follow me you know that I have been in two challenges from their site and it has been so much fun. It helps me get my creativity going and doing layout more than I would. So now they have a forum going on and it is totally awesome! I just left from there and I could not leave until I went through everything. My First Blog Challenge Winner!

Well the time has come and my challenge is at it's end here and I have to make a decision! First I want to say thanks to those who participated and took the time out to visit my blog and do a layout. It really meant a lot to me. Both contestants did a layout of their favorite book and they both choose the Bible. Both of the layout's are wonderful and had meaning to them. I loved both of them a lot but I could only choose one winner. I could not make a decision and thought of sending both the prize because I don't have a team helping me decide, but I had to really look at what I liked about both and gave individual points on what I liked about each and then tallyed up the points and the most points won.
